The Kiwanis Terrific Kid for the month of August was Jada Thomas.  Jada is in 3^rd grade.  Her teacher, Helen Handsom, chose her as a Terrific Kid because Jada is well mannered, a very good student, earns good grades, and is a joy to teach.  She was accompanied to the Kiwanis meeting with her parents, Gregory and Letrell Thomas and the elementary school counselor, Tammie Lanier.
