At the October 22nd meeting of the Metter Kiwanis Club, Sam Baker, Georgia Southern University Athletic Director, spoke to the club about the progress made in the athletic department at GSU.  Most notably, Baker discussed to the Eagles' recent victory over conference rival and defending national champion Appalachian State.  Baker also discussed the upgrade in athletic facilities the university had experienced over the past 12 years.  Shown above are (left to right) Dan O'Dowd, Southern Boosters Director of Annual Campaign, Kiwanian Sam Bradford, and Sam Baker.
