Representative Butch Parrish was the guest speaker at the Metter Kiwanis Club meeting. Representative Parrish represents Emanuel and Candler Counties and portions of Bulloch and Johnson Counties. Since becoming a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, Mr. Parrish has focused on three priorities. These include education, economic development, and transportation. Health care has become another priority as he represents his aging constituents. Mr. Parrish briefly spoke about issues that are of interest both nationally and state-wide such as immigration reform and imminent domain and then took questions from the group. Rep.
