Donnie McDaniel was invited to the Kiwanis Club meeting to accept a donation for his daughter, Hailey McDaniel. Hailey was diagnosed with cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Donnie informed the club members that she was doing well and will finish her treatments in August. The Kiwanis members learned that some money was stolen from containers that were being collected at area businesses. The club decided to raise money from personal funds from the members to replace the money that was taken. Hailey is the daughter of Donnie and Mary McDaniel. Additional donations are being accepted for medical expenses at Pineland State Bank. The account is in the name of Hailey McDaniel. Donnie is pictured with Kiwanis club President, Greg Ponder.
