At the January 22nd meeting of the Metter Kiwanis Club, the club presented a check in the amount $765 to Metter Elementary School Counselor Tammy Lanier to fund a trip to Atlanta to participate in the state wide MathFest. Select students from MES will be chosen based on the number of daily math questions they answer which are announced over the intercom. The finalists will travel with Mrs. Lanier to Atlanta compete in the MathFest on March 3rd.
