Marcia Rigdon was the guest speaker at the Metter Kiwanis Club this week. Marcia is the newly appointed Chairperson of the Metter/Candler County Chamber of Commerce. She spoke to the club about the Chamber and the work the Chamber Board of Directors do behind the scenes to make Metter and Candler County a better community. Marcia felt the need to organize more events such as lunches or breakfasts for the local members to come together and discuss issues. She encouraged all business people to join the Chamber and for the current members to become more involved. Marcia is shown with Kiwanian Samantha Jacobs (right).
