Mike Alexander, CEO of Candler County Hospital spoke to the Metter Kiwanis Club on Monday, December 20.  He addressed several issues related to the hospital including the hospital's economic impact on Candler County , the recent conversion to Critical Access Hospital Status, the conversion to nearly all private patient rooms, current financial pressures, progress of physician recruiting efforts and the hospital's upcoming participation in the Indigent Care Trust Fund.
